After the "Gift-ambassador training" we held there, some of the participants stayed a few days longer in order to volunteer for Amalurra. I volunteered in the communication team, dealing with the question: How to attract more people to Amalurra, who can profit from the services they offer: hotel, restaurant, spa, workshops. I also gave feedback to the newsletters they send and advised on social media channels. I also helped one afternoon in the garden and a few times in the kitchen, in order to balance the computer work... The community members were very open, interested and grateful for the feedback and we worked very efficient in a short-time. I felt very integrated in the community and i also felt a lot of trust.
Amalurra offered us to use their facilities to host a gift-ambassador training for the ecobasa network. We could use first class workshop rooms and materials and got a professional 4 star catering, 3 meals a day. Their mediation chapel was breathtaking and the inhabitants where very warm, open, friendly and caring. I felt at home, even though it is a full professional hotel with spa.
